Mon avis

Ce troisième tome de la saga est plus réussi que le précédent, avec davantage d’épaisseur dans le développement de l’intrigue et des personnages.

On en apprend aussi davantage sur Seth, qui fait toujours le martyr, mais dont la narration permet d’en savoir plus sur son passé et l’évolution de son parcours, et donc de le comprendre mieux. Les évènements sont également plus dramatiques et on voit bien le tournant plus sombre du récit. Josie est vraiment une sainte, j’ai de la compassion pour elle, mais elle m’énerve à être aussi gentille. J’ai par contre été déçue par certains personnages qui m’avaient amusé auparavant, même si je sens qu’il y a baleine sous caillou quelque part.

Je prends toujours autant plaisir à revoir Alex et Aiden, ainsi que toute la bande, dont Luke et Deacon. C’est comme retrouver des amies de longue date, en qui on a totalement confiance et avec qui on est sur de passer un bon moment.

J’avais un peu deviné les choses qui se passaient (en même temps la prophétie n’est pas si brumeuse que ça), mais je suis quand même curieuse de connaitre la fin de la saga.
