Alors que Divergent ne sortia au cinéma qu'en mars 2014 aux Etats Unis et en avril 2014 en France, les producteurs de la saga ont déjà engagé une personne, Brian Duffield, pour s'occuper du script de la suite Insurgent!

Dans un communiqué de presse officiel, Summit a annoncé aujourd'hui que la prise de photo principale avait commencé à Chicago ! Le tournage peut donc commencer :)

Santa Monica, CA – April 8, 2013 – Summit Entertainment, a LIONSGATE® (NYSE: LGF) company, announced today that principal photography has commenced in Chicago on the highly anticipated feature filmadaptation of DIVERGENT, starring Golden Globe nominated Shailene Woodley, Theo James, and Academy Award® winner Kate Winslet. The studio also announced that Ray Stevenson and Mekhi Phifer will join a stellar young cast including Maggie Q, Jai Courtney, Miles Teller, Zoë Kravitz, Ansel Elgort, Ben Lloyd-Hughes, Ben Lamb, Christian Madsen, and Amy Newbold. The futuristic action adventure, based on author Veronica Roth’s New York Times best seller, will be directed by Neil Burger from a script by Vanessa Taylor. The original draft of the script was written by Evan Daugherty. Douglas Wick and Lucy Fisher are producing the project via their RedWagon Entertainment banner along with Pouya Shahbazian. Red Wagon’s Rachel Shane is executive producing, alongside John J. Kelly. Summit will release the film theatrically in North America in THE HUNGER GAMES slot on Friday, March 21, 2014.

Divergent sortira le 21 mars 2014 aux Etats Unis! Pour la France, je n'ai aucune info pour le moment. Ok c'est Summit, donc ça pourrait être la SND, mais Warm Bodies a été produit par Summit et pourtant, c'est Metropolitan FilmExport qui l'a distribué en France!

Ils seront tous dans la faction des Dauntless et participent à l'initiation avec Tris.

Le PDG de Lionsgate a lâché l'information : Kate Winslet ferait partie du casting de Divergent! On ne sait pas encore quel rôle ni le communiqué de presse officiel, mais cela confirme que la boite de production a vraiment les moyens! Selon Examiner, elle pourrait jouer Jeanine Matthews la leader des Erudits ou la mère de Tris...
Edit : C'est officiel, Kate Winslet jouera Jeanine, la chef des Érudits!

Theo James sera Four dans le film Divergent!
C'est un acteur britannique de 28 ans qui a joué Kemal Pamuk dans Downton Abbey (le malheureux 1er amant de Mary) et David dans Underworld Nouvelle Ere.
Je suis déjà très soulagée que ça ne soit pas Alex Pettyfer, et maintenant que je le reconnais, beau gosse, je suis assez contente! On verra ce qu'il va donner!
Divergent sortira le 21 mars 2014 et le tournage devrait commencer en avril à Chicago.

Maggie Q sera Tori, la tatoueuse.
Zoe Kravitz sera Christina, une amie de Tris dans la faction qu'elle a choisi.
Ansel Elgort sera Caleb, le frère de Tris.
On attend Four maintenant!
Jai Courtney, un acteur australien qui a 27 ans, jouera Eric, le leader cruel des Dauntless! Il a joué le fis de Bruce Willis dans Die Hard 5.

Le casting de Four dans le film Divergent continue.
Des 4 acteurs choisis pour un premier test, seul un a été retenu pour un second test en fin de semaine, Lucas Till.
Mais deux autres acteurs sont rentrés dans la course.
Alex Pettifer : je croyais qu'il avait dit qu'il ne voulait plus faire de rôle d'ado?! Il m'énerve à toujours être dans les choix des réalisateurs grrr
Jeremy Irvine est un acteur anglais de 22 ans qui a été le personnage principal de Cheval de Guerre.
