Mon avis

Cette novella se situe dans l’univers de la saga Heartbreaker’s Bay de Jill Shalvis (dont The Trouble with Mistletoe a été adaptée en téléfilm sur Passionflix, mais il n’y a pas du tout besoin d’avoir lu les tomes précédents pour suivre et apprécier cette histoire, même si on aperçoit quelques couples.

Ce récit de seconde chance est tout mignon avec, comme souvent malheureusement, une absence de communication au départ de la séparation, et un problème d’ego du héros. Heureusement, ils vont apprendre à s’écouter et surtout à prendre le temps de ne pas réagir sous le coup de l’émotion, parce qu’il est évident qu’ils sont faits l’un pour l’autre.

Le décor de la petite ville est très sympathique, et ça me donne envie d’en connaitre davantage sur la saga.
